Summary


The Technical Co-operation Committee (TCC) is required to consider any matter within the scope of the Organization concerned with the implementation of technical co-operation projects for which the Organization acts as the executing or co-operating agency and any other matters related to the Organization's activities in the technical co-operation field.

The United States is represented on the Technical Co-operation Committee by the State Department. The Head of Delegation for TCC is the State Department's Transportation Affairs Officer, Mr. Thomas Johnson. Mr. Johnson is supported by the Alternate Head of Delegation/Administrative Program Manager, Ms. Cari Bower, and the various delegation advisors.

U.S. Public Meeting
The U.S. delegation holds a public meeting several weeks prior to departing for the IMO meeting. The purpose of the public meeting is to provide an opportunity for the public to interface with the Coast Guard on the U.S. position for each agenda item.
