Please note: Some of the Web sites listed below are not federal government Web sites, and may not necessarily operate under the same laws, regulations and policies as federal Web sites.Below is a list of upcoming U.S. IMO public events. In general the list contains the upcoming Shipping Coordinating Committee (SHC) public meetings which are held several weeks before each delegation departs for the IMO meeting. The purpose of the public meetings is to provide an opportunity for the public to interface with the Coast Guard and others on the delegation on the U.S. position for each agenda item.
The basic meeting details are below. Those planning to attend must RSVP no later than 7 days prior to the meeting date. Additional information on the public meeting, including RSVP details, and its corresponding IMO meeting can be found on the various USCG IMO webpages.
