Family Resource Program
Special Needs Program
Two family resource specialists (FRS) are assigned to Work Life Boston to manage the special needs program. They provide the following services. Please contact an FRS with any questions. We are here to help.

Enroll and track families enrolled in the special needs program.
Case management.
Provide input to assignment officers (see FAQs).
Help families access services.
Advocacy.
Help to achieve the greatest health care benefit for their family member with special needs
Education about early childhood, parenting, mental health system, and other topics.
Help navigating the often complex medical, mental health, managed care, and education systems.
Information and referral.
Resource information.
Contact an FRS to enroll. The forms needed to enroll can be downloaded from this website, and include the Privacy Act and Special Needs Enrollment Form (to be filled out by you and your spouse) and the Special Needs Medical Form (to be filled out by a health care professional). Ensure your health care professional includes a list of all specialists seen by your family member and how often each specialist is seen.
