PPC Topeka Ombudsman

Introduction

I am pleased to announce that we have selected and designated a new PPC Ombudsman - Ms. Nicole Finley, spouse of our own Trent Finley in Customer Service Division. Nicole is also a member of our PPC reserve unit, so she has a particularly good understanding of things that spouses and family members experience as part of Coast Guard service. An ombudsman acts as an additional resource to talk to PPC members' spouses and family, and perhaps provide some advice on issues or some info on the local area.

I want to thank all of the spouses that showed interest in this position and also thank and recognize our outgoing ombudsman, Ms. Heather Stewart, who has done a wonderful job for us, helping many of our PPC families acclimate to the area and enjoy their PPC tours even more. We wish Heather, Chris and their family all the best as they transfer this summer.
