   Carting For A Cause

Departing April 29, 2013 from Petaluma, CA and arriving May 26, 2013 in Yorktown, VA, off-duty members of the U.S. Coast Guard will drive an electrically powered cart across America. The drive will be completed to solicit the public's support and raise awareness to help support the injured service members of the Wounded Warrior Project. We will be posting updates from the Go Cart Team as they make their way across the country.

We left Sandusky and the great accommodations at Sawmill Resort and followed Lake Erie to Cleveland. When driving the golf cart and Smart car in tandem, the Ryder truck is usually a few miles ahead or behind playing leap frog. Its usually a lower stress job that cart or smart car driving at 25 mph.
