| The Damage Controlman (DC) shop maintains all of the confined space entry and rescue equipment, respiratory protection equipment, decontamination equipment, and damage assessment kits. The DC shop possibly has one of the largest and fully equipped wood and welding shops in the Coast Guard. The DCs repair and fabricate metal, wood, and other equipment pieces for response operations and unit needs. | |||
