Mobile Education and Training Teams (MTT's)

The Coast Guard uses Mobile Education and Training Teams (MTTs) to meet the training needs of requesting countries. The MTTs are tailored as much as possible to the needs of the host country. Several courses have been developed based on standard training requirements which require only minor adjustments to meet specific country needs. Requests must include all available data on the organization, equipment and training objectives of the interested agency or service. Cost will vary according to location, duration, and related assistance (e.g., interpreter support,). Generally, all MTTs are preceded by a survey. Class size for these courses is approximately 30 students, but provisions for larger or smaller classes can be made according to country needs.
