Projects concerning sector and port security operations focus on the offensive and defensive security of our ports, vessels that operate within our ports, and the critical infrastructure within our ports that supports our nation’s economy. This includes threats from above and below the water surface by terrorist attack or other unlawful actions such as smuggling.
Additionally, this research area focuses on threat and vulnerability assessments impacting the economic viability of the nation and security of its citizens.
