Members of the Coast Guard’s Project Resident Office Gulf Coast and shipbuilders from Ingalls Shipbuilding observe the start of fabrication of the sixth National Security Cutter, Munro, Oct. 7, 2013, at Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula, Miss.  The start of fabrication marks the end of pre-fabrication activities, when steel plate and other materials are prepared for the construction phase of the cutter.  Photo courtesy of Huntington Ingalls Industries.
