The sixth and final missionized HC-130J was delivered to the Coast Guard. The SELEX radar has been installed on all of the current 22 HC-130H fleet and 1 prototype.
The last of the Coast Guard’s 22 HC-130H “Hercules” Long Range Surveillance Aircraft has now been outfitted with a new surface search radar system, marking the completion of the first segment of the aircraft’s recapitalization. Read more>>

The service completed a very successful acceptance flight on the sixth HC-130J Super Hercules on May 18. “This was the cleanest acceptance flight of them all, which reflects on the hard work of the contractor, our technical community, and our customer to incorporate lessons learned," said HC-130J Deputy Project Manager Scott Rettie.
