Vessel Documentation System, the NVDC phone hours have been changed
from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. EDT to 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. EDT.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but expect this temporary adjustment
will allow staff to focus on customer application processing and document issuance, resulting
in a quicker turnaround time for our customers.
If you need a status check, would like to verify your paperwork was received, if you have an
emergency or need to contact us outside of the hours noted above, please send an
e-mail to: NVDC.W.Webmaster@uscg.mil. This e-mail account will continue to be monitored
during our normal business hours, which are 7:30 a.m. EDT to 5:00 p.m. EDT.
• Our process of “First in – First out” is still in effect and we will do our best to
respond as quickly as we can.
• If you go to ‘Case Processing Dates’ on this website, you will see what the dates of
those items we are working on, which should help you determine the status of your requests.
• Due to these technical difficulties, our processing times have increased from what
they were in the past. For example AT requests are running approximately a week behind;
24-48 hour turnaround is not feasible at this time. Therefore, please plan accordingly.
We ask for your continued patience while we work to get these issues resolved.
