Office of Navigation Systems
The Coast Guard Office of Navigation Systems (CG-553) reports directly to the Director of Marine Transportation Systems Management (CG-55) which falls under the Assistant Commandant for Marine Safety, Security, and Stewardship (CG-5) at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington DC. Three divisions report to CG-553: the Visual Navigation Division (CG-5531), the Electronic Navigation Division (CG-5532), and the Navigation Standards Division (CG-5533).
