Chief, Office of Port & Facilities Compliance
Captain Tucci is Chief of the Coast Guard’s Office of Port and Facility Compliance at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington DC. He is responsible for port, cargo, and international supply chain safety and security policies. These include enforcement of the Maritime Transportation Security Act and other laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the safety, security, stewardship, and resilience of our nation’s ports and facilities.
Captain Tucci has served in the Coast Guard for over 20 years. His field assignments have included work in vessel and facility inspections, oil spill response, marine casualty investigations, search and rescue, and other operations. He has served in Alaska, Portland Maine, Seattle, WA, Louisville KY, and Washington DC.
Captain Tucci is the recipient of the Coast Guard Meritorious Service Medal, (two awards) the Coast Guard Commendation Medal (four awards), the Coast Guard Achievement Medal (four awards), and the Commandant’s Letter of Commendation (four awards).
