The Coast Guard Yard has been executing our Mission – Service to the Fleet – for over 113 years. As an ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certified organization, the 625 skilled members of the Yard execute our core business processes to the highest standards of quality and environmental stewardship possible. Our core business processes are:
Modernization – Develop and install new
systems on cutters and boats.
Availabilities – Repair vessels on a
scheduled or emergency basis.
Remanufacturing – Overhaul engines,
ordnance, critical underwater appendages and other components and systems.
Detail Design – From concept to reality - Engineer producible designs to
facilitate future installations.
