The U.S. Coast Guard Ocean Engineering Division supports short range aids to navigation and marine environmental protection programs. This includes the design, development, testing, evaluation, procurement and maintenance of a vast array of equipment used in these program areas: buoys and mooring hardware, on and off shore structures, light and sound signal systems, and oil/chemical spill containment/recovery equipment.
