Welcome to HSWL Field Office New London. HSWL FO New London is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). The outpatient treatment facility offers primary health care services to eligible beneficiaries in Southern New England and Long Island areas.
The primary responsibility of HSWL FO New London is to provide direct medical and dental support to the Coast Guard Cadets, Officer Candidates and all Active Duty enrolles. We also offer medical services on a space available basis to the larger beneficiary community as well (active duty dependents, retirees and their dependents under TRICARE Standard).
Services included ambulatory care as well as medical evaluations, physical therapy, optometry,psychiatry, family care, pharmacy, laboratory, x-ray services, nutrition and preventative medicine. We strive to meet the highest standards of health care services while insuring maximum access within the limits of our operational and budgetary resources.

We give timely and accurate advice to all patients and commands who may seek assistance with medical and medical administrative issues. We understand and embrace our responsibility to provide guidance and training to Health Services Technicians serving as Independent Duty Technicians at operational units, as well as to those Corpsmen in our clinic who aspire to such positions of responsibility. We demonstrate full commitment to our staff in the development of all such clinical and management skills needed to step up in leadership roles in follow-on tours.
We provide the fleet with healthy Academy program graduates who are armed with a thorough knowledge of long-term personal health management skills.
