Power of Vision
About the Course
The Power of Vision course is conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration's Center for Management Development in Palm Coast, FL. It is for managers who have facility, program, or project responsibilities. Participants develop skills to set the vision, strategies, action plans, and measures to articulate a clear strategic plan.
Students conduct a self-assessment, participate in individual and group work sessions, complete outdoor challenge course, and conduct a case study.
The training requires participants to be away from their position for 5 days.
Participant Objectives
- Identify strengths and areas for improvement relative to manager/leader skills.
- Develop a vision for your area of responsibility.
- Identify strategies to create an environment where diversity, teamwork, collaboration, and a shared vision promote commitment to an organizational strategic plan.
