
Federal Executive Institute: Leadership for a Democratic Society
The Leadership for a Democratic Society program, conducted by the Office of Personnel Management's Federal Executive Institute in Charlottesville, Va., helps executives develop broad corporate viewpoints, understand their constitutional roles, enhance essential skills, and improve government. Students link individual development to improved agency performance. The program addresses the Executive Core Qualifications of leading change, leading people, building coalitions/communication, results driven and business acumen.
The training requires participants to be away from their position for 2 two-week sessions.
The application will consist of a resume and SF-182 submitted to the CG-133 Program Manager. The resume should address job accomplishments.
Costs are paid by the AFC 56 "C" school account.
The application packages of all eligible nominees will be reviewed by a selection panel at Headquarters. Candidates will be notified by record message traffic of their selection. Alternates will be selected and will attend the program in the event a primary candidate cannot attend.
