Medals and Awards Program

The purpose of the Medals and Awards program is to recognize and reward contributions made by individuals and groups to the Coast Guard as soon as possible.

The Coast Guard Medals and Awards Manual explains policies and procedures on awarding military decorations; unit awards; nonmilitary decorations; campaign and service awards; and operations awards.  It describes the various other Coast Guard awards and Coast Guard Reserve awards; the basis and eligibility requirements for the award; and who is eligible to receive and who is eligible to authorize the award.

NOTE:  Medals and Awards have transferred to CG PSC-PSD.
