Make reservations into Norfolk Int. Airport, Norfolk Virginia, planning to arrive no later than 1900 the day prior to your school report date. AST students will need to arrive no later than 1900 on the Friday prior to the class convening date.
To arrange for transportation from Norfolk airport to Support Center Elizabeth City.

Normal work days: Monday-Friday, 0800-1600. Contact the ATTC Administration Department at (252) 335-6208.
Holidays or after Hours: Contact the ATTC Security watch at (252) 335-6484, or the OOD Cell Phone (252) 722-2606.
If your flight arrival time changes contact the ATTC OOD at (252) 722-2606.
Upon arrival at the airport: Call and inform the ATTC Duty Driver of your arrival (252) 619-6417 and then report to the USO office on the second deck of the airport.
If you arrive after 2200 you will have to take a taxi from the airport to Elizabeth City. This is a reimbursable travel claim expense of approximately $125.00 which initially you will have to pay out-of-pocket, so get a receipt!

Ensure you have adequate rest before traveling and give your self plenty of time to arrive safely.
Plan to arrive no later than 1900 the day prior to your school report date.
Ensure that your vehicle has valid insurance, registration, license plates, and a Coast Guard or DOD decal. These items are required for entry onto Support Center Elizabeth City.
Do not bring any weapons, ammunition, or radar detectors onto the Support Center.
The use of a cell phone while driving on base is a violation of Commandant Policy.
You do not have to be in uniform to check-in to the barracks.
Report to the duty MAA in room 269, this is on the second deck of the barracks (building 61, or Thrun Hall).
The duty MAA will have your room assignments and will issue your linen.
Each student will be provided a twin bed, a desk, chair and large double locker w/drawers (bring your own lock).

Students are required to have all issued sea bag items when reporting to “A” school. This includes the Foul Weather Parka II.
The Elizabeth City Exchange uniform items are limited in their selection. Active duty members can purchase uniform items online from the UDC and have the cost deducted from their pay.
You will not be allowed to wear a hat from a unit other than the Air Station you are reporting from or a regulation Coast Guard ball cap.
A School student will report to the following rooms in the main ATTC building (#4).
AMT room 193 prior to 0745.
AET room 173 or 186 prior to 0745.
AST Student Lounge - room - 125 at 0530.
