Local Schools
The public school systems in both Sonoma and Marin Counties are very good. Phone numbers and Web links to some of them are provided here. Private schools are also available. Please contact them directly them for more information in advance of your arrival.
Children who live on base in Coast Guard housing in grades K-6 attend Two Rock Union Elementary School, which is a public school adjacent to the training center. Older children who live on base attend Petaluma Junior High School and Petaluma Senior High School.
