The Community/Teen Center offers a variety of programs that support adolescents 6 to 17 years of age. The center provides the opportunity to socialize with friends and engage in age-appropriate activities. Activities are designed to offer a relaxing, warm atmosphere while also providing mental and physical challenges. Youth programs provide a novelty of active and passive recreational opportunities to support adolescents 6 to 17 years of age. Programs are specifically developed to promote active participation in a fun environment. These programs provide optional social activities for the adolescent group that can enhance camaraderie, create new friendships, and boost personal confidence.

Only dependents of active duty military, Coast Guard civilian employees (including all NAF, GS, WG, and WN employees), and those employee classifications outlined in COMDTINST M1710.13B (Morale, Well-Being and Recreation manual) are eligible to use the Teen Center. Each dependent over 12 years of age is issued a Coast Guard dependent identification card. ALL patrons of the Teen Center must provide valid, official identification to the watchstander to gain entrance.
