
The purpose of the CPO Academy is to provide newly advanced Chief Petty Officers the leadership, communication, and administrative skills they need to do their jobs effectively.
If you are selected and OCONUS and do not have a CG Global e-mail address, you must list and alternate way to be contacted in the comments section of the ETR.
Members must submit an electronic training request via the Direct Access or a Short-Term Training Request (CG-5223), via their Commanding Officer/Officer-In-Charge to Commandant (CG-133). The course code for the Chief Petty Officer Academy Active Duty class is 230442. The course code for the Reserve class is 500884. Training Request instructions and tutorials are available on the Coast Guard Training Quota Management Center's website.
U.S. Air Force Master Sergeants who have been identified as either a primary or alternate are eligible to apply for the Chief Petty Officer Academy.
