Activities

IMPORTANT: Tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event (at a higher price) at the MWR Ticket Office located next to Two Rock Coffee Co. The Welcome Tables will be solely used for exchanging your ticket for a wristband, information brochures, and sign-up for the tournaments. A wristband is required for lunch and participation in tournaments and the raffle.

Kick-off
Music at Hub and Softball Field, all-day fruit and pretzel stands and beer booths open.
11 – 12pm

Super Mario Cart Tournament* in the theater. Participation is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Sign-up for Washers & Cornhole Tournaments in the Gym; sign-up ends at noon!
11:15 – 1:30pm

Lunch served at the helo-pad.

GRAND SLAM DJs

Mega Rock Wall

Get Ready for some BIG Fun! This Rock Wall is 24 feet tall and has a 180 degree rock climbing surface. This rock wall will be great fun for all ages!


Log Jammer

Dare to survive the Log Slammer! Four participants are trapped floating in the swamp on tree stumps trying to avoid the swinging log stump. Do you jump or do you duck? Either way just make sure that you don't get snapped up by the hungry Alligators waiting for you.


Hamster Balls

Get rolling inside a 12 foot inflatable sphere and play human hamster! These giant human hamster exercise balls are great fun to both watch and play. Players use their hands and feet to move the ball and rotate it forward from the inside. Once you get the ball rolling, you can build up speed and start running as you race against your opponent!


Big Baller

This interactive inflatable game is similar to those seen on the hit TV show "Wipeout". Contestants must navigate the giant red balls to get to the other side. Hop jump climb your way and conquer the Big Baller.


Gladiator Joust

Gladiator Joust players stand on the inflatable rotating disc, in the center of the unit, holding a foam jousting baton. The challenge is to knock off your opponent without falling off the moving disc.


Super Mario Kart Tournament
11:00am Theater

Start Coast Guard Day by participating in the first challenge-a Super Mario Kart Tournament! Participation limited to 16 players and it's first-come, first-serve!


Washers Tournament
12:30pm Softball Field

The object of the game is to get the washer into the hole. First team to reach 21 points will win their round of the tournament.

Cornhole Tournament
1:30pm Softball Field

Grab a partner and get your game face on for the cornhole tournament!

Come in, sit down, and take your chance at playing BINGO.


LaserTAG
Located at the Tennis Courts

Have a blast with the newest and most sophisticated LaserTAG gaming equipment on the planet! For ages 7-70, the i-Combat system is completely wireless and brings video games to life!

Two teams of 7 members max per team for 10 minute games; sign-up on the day of the event at the Tennis Courts.

Candyland
Located at the Chapel

You won't want to miss the Candyland experience. As you walk in the door your sense of smell will have your mouth-watering. Your eyes will be mesmerized as you gleam onto candy, candy, and more candy. Walls are lined with chocolates, jellybeans, gummies, caramels, licorice, and other tasty treats! Candyland is a whimsical tasty filled experience.


Photo Booth
Located outside the TRACEN Gym

Strike a pose, capture great memories, the wild and hilarious outtakes, and take home a keepsake picture to remember Coast Guard Day. Photo Booth will be set up at the entrance outside of the TRACEN gym.


Magic & Fire Show
Theater

This is a show you won't want to miss! Bring the whole family to be amazed and filled with laughter. There will be two shows held in the TRACEN theater on Coast Guard Day. Show Times: First show at 1:00pm and second show at 2:30pm.

Join Kenn Garr and Greg Slater for a laugh out loud interactive magic and fire eating show. Ken Garr has been in entertaining audiences for over twenty-five years. Ken has performed awarding-winning shows for thousands on television, in night clubs, universities, and corporate functions.
