At the Coast Guard we must provide a working environment where individual differences are appreciated and individual strengths contribute to
the accomplishment of the Service’s missions. Every member of the Coast Guard must understand the laws, regulations, and the Coast Guard’s
policies as they pertain to human relations, equal employment opportunity, sexual harassment prevention, and diversity; and how to obtain relief
if subjected to any form of unlawful discrimination or harassment.
Through a variety of sources and methods, the Coast Guard provides training to address these needs. These sessions are open to all members of the Coast Guard, both military and civilian.
