The United States Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, N.J., is the Nation's only Coast Guard Recruit Training Center. The Training Center is open to the invited family members and guests of the graduating class every Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Tour/Security policy: Since September 11, 2001, our country and the U.S. Coast Guard Recruit Training Center was forced to reevaluate and adjust its security in light of potential terrorist threats. Therefore, the Training Center is no longer open for walk-on tours and individual tours.
Tour requests for: school groups; Boy/Girl Scouts of America; veteran groups; and former members of the Coast Guard must be pre-arranged through the Public Affairs Officer, with at least 10 business days advance notice. Boy/Girl Scouts interested in camping on the facility, must click here for information.
If you are interested in joining the Coast Guard and
would like a tour, please work with your local Coast Guard recruiter and
he/she will coordinate directly with the Public Affairs Officer. To find a

SUNSET PARADES SCHEDULE 2013
Sunset Parades are colorful,
inspiring military ceremonies featuring the Recruit Band, Drill
Team,
marching troops, cannon fire, and a low level fly over by a CG helicopter.
They take
place at sunset on the Training Center's parade grounds, are open
to the general public,
and there is no admission charge. Children are
welcome to attend, but should be
accompanied by an adult. The Sunset Parade
