Counseling & Chapel Program
Recruit training
and the transition into military life, are at various times very strenuous.
This combined with the stress of
separation from family and friends, sometimes
creates a need
for recruits to seek counseling. There
are many people trained to offer advice
and counseling. All counselors
want to help recruits succeed and
complete the training program by helping
recruits see their way beyond the
obstacles.
Some people find religious services uplifting and a good way to ease the pressures of recruit training. The Guardians of the Sea Chapel is staffed by both Catholic and Protestant Chaplains and has services every Sunday morning which recruits may attend. Arrangements will be made for recruits of different faiths to attend religious services in Cape May if they are available and do not interfere with regularly scheduled training.

ENGAGED ENCOUNTER - Catholic Engaged Encounter is a weekend retreat away with other engaged couples with plenty of time alone together to plan for a sacramental marriage.
SACRAMENTAL RECORDS: - is Sacrament Records online at AMS for any Roman Catholic on file in the military i.e. baptismal records, marriage records, etc.

USE OF CHAPEL AVAILABLE FOR APPROPRIATE CEREMONIES.
BRIEF VIDEO CAN BE SEEN ON US NAVY CHAPLAINS PROVIDING RELIGIOUS SERVICES FOR THE USCG.
ON BASE, ONLY PROTESTANT AND CATHOLIC SERVICES AVAILABLE; HOWEVER, DIRECTION TO OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP LOCALLY FOR FAITH OF CHOICE IS ALSO AVAILABLE.
