SJCHC ANCILLARY SERVICES
LABORATORY
Two Nationally Certified Medical Technologists and
a trained laboratory technician
staff the SJCHC laboratory. The
laboratory is accredited as a
moderately complex laboratory
through the Center for Medicare and Medicaid
(CMS). A wide range of tests are
available with tests performed on
site or by our reference
laboratory.
The laboratory
technicians report results to the
physician or other health care
provider and may not give results
directly to nor discuss readings with patients.
SJCHC Laboratory hours are as follows:
Monday, Thursday, & Friday:
0700 - 1130 and 1300 - 1430
Tuesday: 0700 - 1030, 1100 -
1130, and 1300 - 1430
The SJCHC Laboratory is closed during the
following times:
Monday - Friday: 1130 - 1300
Tuesday:
1030 - 1100 for All-Hands
Wednesday for recruit processing
All Federal holidays
Weekends
PHARMACY
A registered U.S. Public Health Service Pharmacist and two
pharmacy technicians staff the SJCHC Pharmacy.
Pharmacy services are provided as follows:
Monday - Friday: 0700 - 1130 and 1300 - 1530
The SJCHC Pharmacy is closed during the following times:
Monday - Friday: 1130 - 1300
Tuesday:
1030 - 1100 for All-Hands
All Federal holidays
Weekends
The HSWL Regional Practice Cape May formulary is composed of medications
required by the Department of Defense Basic Core Formulary or regularly prescribed by our staff members. Outside
military and civilian prescriptions will be honored when the requested
medication is on the HSWL Regional Practice formulary.

PHYSICAL EXAMS
The SJCHC Military Physical Exam
Department conducts routine physical
examinations for recruits and active duty
members, specialty examinations for medical
boards, and aviation physical examinations.
This department is located on the first deck of
the Samuel J Call Health Services Center and is
staffed by three technicians.
All
examinations are by appointment only and can be
made by calling (609) 898-6607 between 0700 -
1130 and 1300 - 1530.
RADIOLOGY
A trained Radiology Technician
staffs the SJCHC Radiology Department. Routine x-rays
are performed on site, while specialized
procedures are arranged with other civilian
sources.
Results of radiographic procedures are
reported directly to the requesting provider
only. The
Radiology Technician is not permitted to discuss
results or provide interpretation for patients.

Monday - Friday: 0700 - 1130 and 1300 - 1530

Tuesday:
