Recruit Training Applicants

"You've got 10 seconds to get off this bus, and you just wasted three!"

As with any military service, before you can do anything or go anywhere, you are going to have to go through basic training. After this "experience," you'll graduate with the basic skills you'll need to serve as a Coast Guardsman.

It's Not Just Eight Weeks

While graduating from Recruit Training will be one of the most rewarding accomplishments of your lifetime, it will certainly challenge you both mentallly and physically. To be successful at Cape May you must prepare your body and mind through fitness training and dedicated study. The key is to begin preparing early and sustaining your efforts up until your shipping day.
