The Employee Assistance Program provides several services for the Coast Guard community. Primary is the CG SUPRT Program. The CG SUPRT Program (1-855-CGSUPRT (247-8778)) is a professional staffed service that is available 24/7.
Its purpose is to assist CG employees with a wide range of mental health and other life concerns, such as depression, relationship issues, and work stress, which may impact their ability to perform on the job and/or their family. The EAP also supports Commands and the community with other services, such as Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) responses, Mandated Trainings on the CG Suicide, Sexual Assault, and CISM programs, training of CISM Peers and Sexual Assault Victim Advocates, Workplace Violence and Suicide Prevention Programs.
The EAP Coordinator also serves as the Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC) for the AOR, dealing with prevention and allegations of sexual assault. The SARC assists sexual assault victims and all community members with all aspects of handling prevention and responses to sexual assault. For more information, please call (609) 898-6731.
