DSSTs (Coast Guard pays)
SkillSoft courses (free)
The Coast Guard
has a program which will “repay certain types of federally insured student
loans as recruitment or retention incentive for certain Coast Guard civilian
employees paid from appropriated funds.”
For more information, see ALCOAST 419/11 and the directive which authorizes it, COMDTINST 12500.3.
Most of what's on this web site applies to you as well as to uniformed personnel. There are also career development pages specifically aimed at Coast Guard civilians. And the career transition pages all apply to you as well.
