1. Customers must contact the USCG Historian's Office by email, mail, or by phone (202-372-4651) in order to receive photocopies of available images along with the appropriate order numbers. If emailing be sure to provide your mailing address so the xerox copies of the images can be forwarded to you. The Historian's Office will not provide scans of images upon request as we do not have the staffing to fulfill such requests.
2. Only after receiving the numbered photocopies of images from the Historian's Office, the customer should then contact the vendor listed below in order to arrange for duplication of the desired images. Be sure to provide the image numbers located on the photocopies to the vendor. This will ensure that the proper images are pulled and duplicated.
3. Details of fees, shipping costs, and schedule of delivery are to be determined by the customer and the vendor. The USCG Historian's Office has no role in this process.
4. The vendor will then contact the USCG Historian's Office. Photos will be picked up by the vendor on Wednesdays only. There will be no exceptions. Please bear this in mind if you are under any time constraints.
5. When the duplication order is completed, the vendor will ship the duplicated images to the customer according to the agreed method and schedule.
All inquiries regarding the status of your order once it is placed must be directed to the vendor, not the USCG Historian's Office.
