Master Chief Claude Taylor assumed the duties as Command Master Chief for Sector Lake Michigan in July 2010.
Prior
to his current assignment, he served as the Executive Assistant to the
Master Chief Petty Officer of the Coast Guard. Master Chief Taylor's
other assignments have been at Coast Guard Integrated Support Command

Master Chief Taylor is married to the former Gail Keiser of Imperial, Missouri. They have a son, Kevin Taylor.
Master Chief Taylor is a graduate of Class 78 of the Chief Petty Officer Academy.
Master
Chief Taylor's awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, CG
Commendation Medal, CG Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal and
numerous other personal and service awards.
