History of Aids To Navigation Team, Detroit

 
Aids To Navigations Team Detroit was commissioned in 1978 and charged with maintaining Aids To Navigation (ATON) on the South Western end of Lake Erie through the Detroit River to include Lake St. Clair. Currently the unit has a primary responsibility for over 300 Aids to Navigation as well as a secondary for 310 Aids to Navigation.
