STATION OPERATIONS

The Station runs a modified 1 and 3 duty rotation. In other words in a given 3 week period... You would stand duty Mon/Tues, off  Wed/Thurs, stand duty Fri/Sat/Sun, off Mon/Tues, stand duty Wed/Thurs off Fri/Sat/Sun, and day work 0645 - 1300 Mon- Fri with Sat/Sun off.   Operations are Hi-Tempo from Memorial weekend thru the Summer until Labor Day weekend. This time frame is labeled as our Search and Rescue (SAR) season. During the fiscal year 2007 this station had 121 SAR Cases and conducted 196 boardings.
