Missions
Some of the major missions carried out by the station are Maritime Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue. In an average year the station is involved in over 400 Search and Rescue cases and over 2,500 Law Enforcement boardings, making it one of the busiest Coast Guard stations in the United States. The station has a number of boat resources on hand to accomodate any Search and Rescue case in its area of responsibility including two 41' Utility boats and two 25' RB-S SAFE boats.
