National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) check current status

Chief Petty Officer Keith Watters assumed the duties of Command Chief, Marine Safety Unit Baton Rouge in February, 2015. Chief Watters is a native of Long Island, New York. He enlisted in the Coast Guard in September, 2000, attending Basic Training at Cape May, N.J. His previous assignments include: USCGC RELIANCE (WMEC 615) Marine Safety Unit/Sector San Juan Sector Southeastern New England Marine Safety Detachment Coram Chief Petty Officer Watters is a graduate of the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer Academy (Class CXCIII). His personal awards include three Coast Guard Achievement Medals with an operational distinguishing device, six Commandantís Letters of Commendation with an operational distinguishing device and numerous other individual and unit awards.
