Chief Warrant Officer Moore graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Cape May, NJ in January 1991. Upon graduation, he was assigned to the USCGC MORGENTHAU (WHEC 722) in San Francisco, CA. His other afloat tours include a second tour aboard the USCGC MORGENTHAU (WHEC 722), the USCGC DILIGENCE (WMEC 616) as the Command Chief, and his latest assignment on board the USCGC WRANGELL (WPB 1332), which operates in the Patrol Forces Southwest Asia Theater.
Chief Warrant Officer Moore’s ashore assignments include CG Station Port Aransas, TX, CG Station Venice, LA, CG Station St. Inigoes, MD as the Executive Petty Officer and later fleeted up to the Officer in Charge position, and also served as the Officer in Charge at CG Aids to Navigation Team Potomac.
Chief Warrant Officer Moore’s military decorations include: the Coast Guard Commendation Medal (w/ Operation Distinguishing Device (O) and three gold stars), the Coast Guard Achievement Medal (w/ O and three gold stars), The Coast Guard Commandant Letter of Commendation (w/ O), and numerous unit awards.
