District Eight Contingency Planning Branch (dxc)
The Contingency Planning staff maintains all Eighth District contingency plans including the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) CGD8INST 3010.1C, Severe Weather Plan CGD8INST 3006.1C and Crisis Staffing Procedures CGD8INST 1601.1D (These can be viewed through CG Central). The staff works closely with Sector staffs responsible for exercises required by COMDTINST M3010.11 (series). The staff also coordinates annual exercises within the Eight District at the Field Training Exercise (FTX) level. The staff monitors the CPS site to ensure compliance with CGSAILS and RAMP. The staff supports requests for exercise control staff and exercise evaluators.
