P.C.S. to Station Lake Worth Inlet

We are eager for you to arrive and become integrated into the great team we have at Station Lake Worth. However, We are well aware that the challenges of a permanent change of station are, and should be, your initial concerns. Please let us know what we can do to make this relocation as easy as possible. As it is in most large metropolitan areas, housing is expensive and may involve prolonged commutes. Take the time you need to find a good fit for you and your family. Your sponsor should be a valuable resource in providing "local knowledge" of housing, schools, and commute estimates. Feel free to use your sponsor or another station member to assist in making a final decision. Once you have yourself and family settled and can focus on the Coast Guard, we will get you involved in the great missions performed by Station Lake Worth! Due to the high cost of housing in the West Palm Beach area and the time lag in receiving travel claim payments, it is recommended that you arrive with $2000.00 to $2500.00 in available funds for housing, deposits, etc.
