The US Coast Guard has a rich history of protecting the Constitution on the United States, from the Revenue-Marine service in 1791 to participation in every major conflict, the Coast Guard has been there, protecting, defending, and executing the missions of the coast guard.

Fort Myers Beach is home to the areas "silent warriors", protecting the coastline of Southwest Florida. Station Fort Myers Beach is on guard, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, relentlessly defending and protecting against drugs, illegal immigrants, customs, smuggling, saving distressed boaters and protecting area boaters from harm.
