Security Levels
Armory
The Armory provides the ordnance training and support designed to help Sector Miami and outlying units accomplish Coast Guard missions and maintain operational readiness. The weapons and ammunition experts at the Sector Miami Armory facilitate the training and qualifications for over 800 Coast Guard members. Dozens of federal agencies and local law enforcement partners utilize the range facility to maintain their weapons qualifications as well. Additionally, the armory manages the security of all weapons and ammunition, storage for weapons and ammunition, and preventative maintenance of all weapons. Their dedication to the Coast Guard missions has made them an integral part of Sector Miami's operational readiness and law enforcement effectiveness.
