Daily Routine:
Monday- Friday 0730 to 1530
Uniform:
Uniform of the day: Operational Dress Uniform.
For work without the ODU Blouse, Blue T-Shirt with
Housing:
All members receive BAH and live on the economy. Sector St. Petersburg does
NOT have UPH or leased housing.
Vehicle Policy:
CPO and above given designated parking only.
GV's for official use only, no overnight use without orders.
Limited access to GV's; first come first serve.
No speeding on base 10MPH or as marked.
Duty:
BASE DUTY
Qualification within a month of reporting. Watchstander rotation (E4
and below) is 1 in 4.
Base JOOD (E5) 1 in 8 rotation.
Base OOD (E6) 1 in 15 rotation.
OPCEN
Qualification depends on completion of SAR school, OJT and an Oral
Board.
RADIO
Qualification depends on completion of OJT and an Oral Board.
EXCHANGE/COMMISSARY:
There is a Coast Guard Exchange

Hurricane Plan:
When a hurricane threatens St. Petersburg/Tampa area,
We prep the base for heavy weather according to the hurricane plan.
People designated as core cadre stay and take care of the immediate
needs of the base and our mission. Everyone else evacuates to
designated building for Sector St. Pete active duty members.
After the storm evacuee's return, fill out travel claims and
commence cleanup, repair and operations.
