Chief Warrant Officer Huard
Chief Warrant
Officer Huard enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1986.
After recruit training he served at the following
units: USCG Station Oswego NY from 1986 to 1990, USCGC TAMAROA (WMEC 166)
from 1990 to 1993, USCG ANT Boston from 1993 to 1996, USCG Station Marathon
from 1996 to 1999, USCG ANT Long Island Sound from 1999 to 2001, USCGC
SPENCR (WMEC 905) from 2001 to 2003, USCG ANT Boston from 2003 to 2005.
His position at these units ranged from Small Boat
Coxswain to Officer in Charge.
Chief Warrant
Officer Huard was received his commission in 2005 and has served as the
First Lieutenant aboard the USCGC JARVIS (WHEC 725) from 2005 to 2007 and
the USCGC ASPEN (WLB 208) from 2005 to 2010.
Chief Warrant
Officer Huard’s awards include the CG Commendation Medal, CG Achievement
Medal, and the Commandant’s Letter of Commendation and 16 various
military/ribbons.
Chief Warrant Officer Huard was the recipient of the
Coast Guard Foundation Award, and the Association for Rescue at Sea Award in
1992.
Chief Warrant
Officer Huard has graduated from the Chief Petty Officer Academy and is a
graduate of the Chief Warrant Officer Professional Development course in
New London
Connecticut.
