Sector reservists requesting "C" school and training opportunities must first receive command permission from their Dept Head, by routing a short term training request through their department. Upon receiving permission, the member must submit the following information to
- Full name and rank
- School or course code number and name of the school Primary dates for the school or course (include secondary dates only if you are able to attend on those dates).
- Primary dates for the school or course (include secondary dates only if you are able to attend on those dates).
- Contact information: phone number, civilian email, and USCG email.
Once this information is received and you are approved to attend the school, you must then work with the SPO for travel orders. It is up to each member to apply for orders in accordance with administrative policy. Orders for training and travel will be reflected in DA after approval via two separate emails in your USCG email. So member must check their USCG email account via outlook web (CAC reader) or a USCG workstation.
All members requesting "A" school will continue to process requests through their department and through the Active Duty SPO.
