The Coast Guard is looking for the best individuals out there to fill its ranks as Coast Guard Officers. If you desire to serve the Coast guard in a new capacity, then the SRDC may be for you. The Coast Guard’s core values of Honor, Respect, and Devotion to Duty are just a few of the charcteristics looked at for commissioning. Individuals considered for a Coast Guard Commission should exude these values as well as (JJ DID TIE BUCKLE) Justice, Judgment, Dependability, Initiative, Decisiveness, Tact, Integrity, Enthusiasm, Bearing, Unselfishness, Courage, Knowledge, Loyalty, and Endurance.
