Air Station Miami External Affairs Division is actively engaged in highlighting Coast Guard careers, missions and achievements to people throughout the southeast United States and beyond. Coast Guard Air Station Miami is an active partner in the South Florida community. In 2007 we participated in 3 air shows, 10 SAR demonstrations, 16 static displays, 11 career days, 13 fly overs and hosted 18 hangar tours. This provided first hand exposure to Coast Guard capabilities, missions and careers to over 1.9 million people in 2007.

- Summer 2008 - Entries from 2nd Annual Photo Contest. Winners to be announced in August.
- July 16, 2008 - The Broward Sheriff's Office Marine Cadets enjoy a tour of the Air Station including static displays of the HU-25D and HH-65C.
- April 10-11, 2008 - Air Station Miami hosts it's 1st Annual Open House. 1000 students from Miami-Dade and Broward Counties had an opportunity to participate in interactive displays from a variety of Coast Guard units, including Station Miami Beach and Station Ft. Lauderdale, Aids-to-Navigation Teams Miami Beach and Ft. Lauderdale, Tactical Law Enforcement Team South, Coast Guard Recruiting and Coast Guard Auxiliary.
- April 5-6, 2008 - HU-25Ds & HH-65Cs conducted fly-overs for the final matches of the Sony-Ericsson OPen Tennis Tournament at Crandon Park Tennis Center.
- April 1, 2008 - Air Station Miami hosts the Urban League's "A Day In The Life" program. Students were able to learn about Coast Guard and Aviation Careers from the pilots and mechanics.
- March 25, 2008 - Members of the Indian Princesses Yellowknives Tribe visit the Air Station for an aircraft tour and SAR demonstration.

- February 23, 2008 - An HH-65C crew participated in the City of Cutler Bay's "Annual Founder's Day" celebration.
- December 30, 2007 - Two HU-25DCs conduct a fly-over of the Miami Dolphins vs Cincinatti Bengals game.
- November 11, 2007 - Three HH-65Cs conduct a fly-over of the Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills game.
- Summer 2007 - Entries from the 1st Annual Photo Contest. The winners were: AMT2 Aaron Nachlas in the Photograph Division, and EM3 Massey in the Photo Illustration Division.
