Ramey School is federally funded and provides a well-rounded education
program to students Pre-K thru 12. The school year starts in late August.
Teaching staff size is dependent on anticipated student population, therefore
it is important that you contact the school and register your children
as soon as possible. The school does have a dress code, contact your sponsor
for details.
Our Junior/Senior High School is accredited by North Central Accreditation of College and Secondary Schools. In addition to having a fine physical plant, the school has a highly-qualified professional staff; many of the faculty have Master's degrees, and some have credits beyond the Master's level. The curriculum meets the requirements for graduation and for college entrance and has a small selection of electives.
A range of extracurricular activities is offered to students. Ramey High School is a member of the PRHSAA, which sponsors interscholastic competition in cross-country, basketball, wrestling, golf, baseball, track, and girls' volleyball and softball.
The library is modern and well equipped. It is staffed with a full-time professional librarian and contains approximately 20,000 books. The audio visual center is modern and is one of the favorite sites in the school. Ramey offers computer courses to high school students, and all grades from K-8 are introduced to computers.
The school publishes a handbook with information on course offerings, school services, and rules and regulations. It is available to all students and parents upon request.
