Station Cape May
Station Townsends Inlet, NJ Station Fortesque, NJ
Station Cape May’s Area of Responsibility (AOR) is the
area defined by Fifth Coast Guard District. Unit
boundaries and areas of responsibility change with the operational status of
Station Smalls (sm), which include Townsends Inlet and Fortescue.
Both station (sm) operate from May to October.
Located in Fortescue, NJ, Station (sm) Fortescue is responsible for the
waters of Delaware Bay that exists south of a line drawn across Delaware Bay
at Bombay Hook, DE, to a line drawn across the Bay from Bowers Beach, DE, to
Reeds Beach, NJ. Located at Townsends Inlet, NJ, Station
(sm) Townsends Inlet is responsible for the intracoastal waterway and waters
off the coast of NJ.
