STATION FACILITIES

The present facility was constructed in 1970 and falls within the unit structure of Sector Hampton Roads with additional electronic support from the Sector Field Office (S.F.O.) Eastern Shore. The station maintains berthing for each duty section, a galley, a Gym, a Rescue 21 equipped communications center, and a recreation room/area.

Unaccompanied Housing (UPH) for single members and duty section personnel are located in the stations with newly remodeled 2 and 6 person barracks rooms. Newly arriving members are urged to research the area as soon as practical prior to reporting to the unit. Many members who option not to reside in the immediate area voluntarily carpool with other members at the unit or commute from the Virginia Beach area, approximately 30-49 Miles away.
